I think you did a nice job, however, this sentence should be redone and broken into two sentences:
"The Barber Half dollars are, like all coins in the series, challenging to find in higher grades, there is no immensely expensive key date in the series, the most valuable date being the 1904-S."

Many people may not know what "good" or "fine" means. It could improve the educational value of the page to link a grading site or give a primer on it therein.
