Will grading this card make it worthwhile for a buyer

I pulled a Bowman Chrome Tommy Hanson autograph a couple weeks ago.

I see them selling on Ebay for $30-$33 so with fees I figured I'd be ay about $28 (Figuring using BIN for selling)

I list it for $29 on another board and get someone who wants it. I have yet to be paid so the card is not gone yet.

I check into the buyer and all he sells on graded cards, PSA nd BGS.

I figure $10-$12 grading fee for a total investment of $40ish

THe highest selling price I can find is for a BGS 9.5 for $58.

Will the seller make $$ and am I missing out by not grading cards like this?

    It may be worth it to him, not to me.

    You are assuming that it is absolutely without a doubt a BGS 9.5. An ungraded copy will sell for the same as a BGS 9 so you are losing money.

    Edit: Is it worth the risk and grading fees for $18?

    a bgs 9.5 isn't the best case scenario, a bgs 10 is, which would bring more money. it's a very sharp looking card, can't see the bottom corners or edge but it looks good. imo, i would sell as you are proposing, you might get a little more than a average hanson but ebay would eat that up, the shipping/return shipping/grading fee's aren't worth the extra money or effort, move it out...

    Can't see much of an upside versus the risk by the buyer. It's a rather small margin to be taking chances on with no upside if the grade isn't hit.

    Personally, I'd sell it raw and if the buyer gets his grade, more power to him.
