New Identity Announcement

Fellow Board Members:
Recently I was accepted by PCGS to become an "Authorized Dealer" and so it was no longer appropriate to keep my PrivateCoinCollector moniker. Over the years my passion and knowledge of coins has increased in no small part due to these boards. I am operating under the name Armen Moloian Rare Coins and you can see some of my coins in Collectors Corner. I also have begun to populate a store on eBay until such time as I decide how much retail exposure I want to have and if that warrants a custom website. Over the last 6 years I have become an eBay Powerseller and maintain a Top-rated seller rating. I have been a member of the ANA for years and spend at least one week every year in Colorado Springs rubbing elbows with some of the leaders in Numismatics. The educational seminars on Advanced Grading, Counterfeit Detection, and others were wonderful growth experiences and I recommend them to everyone. I have been buying collections for years and culling from them coins for my own collection. Until now, with the exception of eBay, I have been predominately operating in the wholesale space, but as my contacts have grown there has been a very natural progression to working with collectors directly.
But it was time to cross the line and give up on the notion that I am "only" a collector and so now I am going to go by AMRC which is an acronym for Armen Moloian Rare Coins. This is not a shameful pitch, but a mere disclosure as I did not want everyone being misled that I am a newbie on the boards.

Thanks,
Armen Moloian,

Glad to see that you've re-entered the circus tentimage
Why have your prior history here deleted though? Leaving it around as a point of reference would lend a degree of transparency, eh?

Nothing has been deleted, but I did not see an easy way to change my ID, so I opted for a new one.

So have you operated a "Store Front" for three years or is that a "flexible" requirement?

I agree. I was thinking of auctioning off the Longacre name for charity, but I don't want to lose the post count. image

    Hmmm,

seems like this could be considered a special circumstance, just PM Carol and see if you can have your old ID converted to this new one.
