Mercury Dimes in MS64 (these are both full bands) look mark free in many cases.

I often wonder if people get sick of seeing my dimes. I never do. Another 64, as they are very tough on grading this series.

Amazing that this coin is so struck up when you consider it was struck on a 1954-S nickel planchet... for those of you who are not familar with 1954 nickels... strong strikes are certainly not the norm.

How 'bout this girl? She's still new. Been shopping for them too.

I think that early cents, pretty much any Large cents look great in 64. Also, most classic commems still look great in 64.

I think most modern dollars look bad in 64, Ikes, SBAs, prez bucks and Sacs.

Bear: I hope that it's OK for me to post the following attractive 1921 Peace Dollar NGC MS-63 that I recently acquired with an interesting pedigree, having been struck from Satin Proof obverse and reverse dies...

I think that she's a pretty coin even in MS-63 Grade. image

I think that this recent purchase from Mark Feld may be the most well struck 1921 Peace Dollar in my collection. Perhaps it was one of those struck using the 150 ton pressure during the intial phase of minting...

lib half eagles starting looking really nice in 64 but the difference between
that and a 65 is just amazing. so i will say half eagles in 64 can look
like heck compared to a 65.

When you said "some look like heck in 64" I assume you meant modern?

I can't think of any 'classic' coin that would look bad in 64.

Even older proofs in 64 still look decent no?
