Amazing that this coin is so struck up when you consider it was struck on a 1954-S nickel planchet... for those of you who are not familar with 1954 nickels... strong strikes are certainly not the norm.

I think most modern dollars look bad in 64, Ikes, SBAs, prez bucks and Sacs.

I think that she's a pretty coin even in MS-63 Grade.

that and a 65 is just amazing. so i will say half eagles in 64 can look
like heck compared to a 65.

When you said "some look like heck in 64" I assume you meant modern?
I can't think of any 'classic' coin that would look bad in 64.
Even older proofs in 64 still look decent no?
