Need some help with a 1878-S long nock Morgan attribution

This one has me stumped. The fourth star is shortened/broken, but I can't see any sort of spike or break on the eye. The third star has soething going on with the inner point, but because of the wear I can't tell if it's broken, doubled, or damaged. My first thought is VAM-59? Any ideas? I'll post photos of other areas of the coin if it will help.

<< <i>Can you describe in detail the feature that I'm seeing on the bridge of the nose? It sure looks like a partial letter transfer. >>
When I ltook my first look at it through the microscope, I thought the same thing. It looks like a lower case p or d...or maybe part of an R. It sticks up off the surface of the coin (not incuse). I couldn't see anything on a Morgan that was similar in either size or style, so I didn't mention it in the original post.

Just wierd PMD... there are no letters from the reverse that would transfer there and the size is all wrong.
