Yes. Reasonable shot at FBL, but the upper part of the lower lines to the left of the crack look iffy.

I think a Ms 64 may be in order as the marks are in the focal area.

Seems right. Shot FBL at PCGS maybe as well.

It looks like a 63+ with an outside shot at FBL, so MS64 non-FBL appears to be a reasonable choice/possibility.

Seems like a lot of chatter on both sides for 64.

I actually think the grade is correct, I just wanted to hear some other opinions.

IMO it is overgraded by one point. It looks like a 63 to me.

The coin is a decent 64; correctly graded.

The coin has found its final resting place. It's not a 64, but an average 63. I'm surprised NGC gave it a 4.

I am with Mark MS-63+. Nice luster but way too many

marks on face and some are deep. The FBL seem to fade in

and out so I would say no on FBL from PCGS.

I would agree. It might be on the low side of a 64 but it looks nice and looks close to FBL.

Many a Frankie in MS64 with strong Luster has mucho chatter, keeping it from GEM status..

    I haven't a problem with this one in a 4 holder....

As for FBL, I need to see this one in person...

This would be a coin I would crack out and place in one of my albums, and hope Frankie would tone...

That's exactly where it's going Lucy, into an album I'm putting together.

I agree....about what I expect to be in a MS64 plus or minus a half point.

theres definitely a wheel mark evident on the reverse towards the top of the liberty bell in that photo. It probably should've bagged.

I think the MS64 grade is a gift, too. It looks like many MS63s I've seen. I just don't find that coin appealing at all. And, no on the FBL.

first thought 63 possible FBL............scuffy in the main focal areas..........

    yes, I can see ms64,

    it's either that or a strict ms63.

I'm not seeing it and don't know how you can be so certain, based on that image.

Hmmm... IMO, 64 is a bit of a stretch...

Just as there are differenin g opinions on this thread (all about the same coin, I might emphasize), if there is more than one person grading coins at NGC - or PCGS, for that matter - it shows that sometimes, opinions, like grades, are subjective.

Nevertheless, this is a nice looking coin.
