What do you think of this 1879-O Morgan?

Would you be so kind as to give an idea what grade this coin might be?
It's what's called Blast White,I think.
It's pure bright silver color.My camera is not so hot.

    Good strike & details for a O mint. 63 +/- can tell much from picture.

    I agree that it looks like a great O-mint coins. Nice strike and what appears to be nice luster. I am concerned about what appears to be some light slide marks on the obverse and reverse, maybe from being in an album. If the dates were an 84S or 86O, for example, the grade would top out at AU58 I think. This date, however, I would agree with the MS62 grade.

    You can't go wrong with a $7.00 investment. And, to prove so, I will let you triple your money by selling it to me at $21.00. image

    Really, these were still circulating in '64. Premium for a common date
    uncirculated at a coin shop was about two bits or $1.25.

    Nice looks like it has a Vam just need some close up pic by the date in back of haed by the right wing mid top. I know it has a clash you can see that. Nice Morgan good price. image

    Nice coin. My guess on that one is au58.

    Harry779: I like the clash mark on the reverse inside the upper portion of the right side wreath. The coin has an AU-58-ish look to it based on what may be some light circulation hairline sctraches in some of the uprotected portions of the fields -- but difficult to discern from the photos.

    Your camera is probably OK, but you may wish to learn to adjust the white balance for different light sources.

    Liberty's face and neck look pretty rough, so I will go with MS61. I could see anywhere between an AU58 and an MS62, however.
