    I've had them retract bids in error during normal working hours but never on a weekend auction. If your bid is for Monday's auction you should be able to have them pull it. If it was for tonight's auction you can always plead your case to them and see what happens, esp if you are a first timer or you have been a really steady customer with no hiccups. I'm sure they'd hate to lose someone over a single incident. As a minimum if you know you don't want the item at least offer to send a check for the return fee(s) and save on the postage both ways. If your bid was totally illogical (ie a simple mistake) they might just be willing to have you pay that bid increment and see if the under-bidder would take the coin....assuming that option is cheaper than the return fee which it should be.

    I have been using teletrade for years . This is a lame reason , but the same grade/mm coin is coming up on their new auction and it looks better than the one I now purchased. This is a pop. 46 with 0 better .. and this will be the third one in 3 weeks they listed . (1966 sp68 sms quarter)
