Looks to be a very attractive Franklin, at a very reasonable price. Congratulations!

..it sure caught my eye !

But I layed off bidding because of what looks like a sizeable scratch across the top of the bell

I scored a Frank from Cosco for $1.50

and it included a large soft drink.image

By the way, lovely half dollar, even if the

scratch is on the bell. If the scratch is on

the plastic, then you scored in a big way.

..........looks like the rip of that auction ( far as Franklins go ) was the 1953 in 66 that went for dirt !

so here we go again - PCGS Guide is something like 500$ and it hammered at what .............$110 ??

actually it hammered at 140 plus the juice. 161 and I gotta pay tax- I'm in Texas.

Hey did y'all know that most of the graders for PCGS live in Texas and that is why they have to charge a TAX!! on submissions?????

yeah- heard this from the helpful girls at the Money Show- kind of ironic since PCGS has no office in texas just employees that live here but travel to LaLa land..

I saw the coin at the show, scratch is on the slab..
