My Newp '34 CBH - Play the grade game - with variant

Since there appear to be several Capped Bust half fans here tonight, I am posting my newest. Let us play guess the grade and which Overton Variety. I am trying harder on my images but they still need a bit of practice. The spider webbing is in the ANACS slab.

btw, the images show the die rotation pretty accurately.

New to this CBH gonna go VF, no idea of O Variety.

I do like her looks. Crackers and Cheese in bed, no problemo.

I'll say EF40, and it looks like an O-115

Does the 0 in 50 show signs of recutting? I can't quite tell in the photos. I assume it does. If not, it'd be an O-115a

Not an expert on the Overton varieties, but I'll say VF-30 on the grade.

Creepy looking image, but OTOH looks like a very nice strike and probably an original coin.

Ok, the answer is....

As is usual, the coin is nicer in hand. It is not nearly as dark around the edges as the images appear. The flat spot above the eye is much more pronounced in the images.

I think the grade is a bit high for the obverse wear. Still a nice coin.

My first impression was 40 based on the obv. IMO she's a soft strike and that, coupled with moderate wear makes her look like a higer vf.
