My collection of (small size) Capped Bust Quarters

I photographed all of my Capped Bust 25c a few days back, so here are the 1831-1838 coins. All are raw. I'll save you the trouble of pointing out the problem coins that aren't sticker-worthy. The first 1831 has proof-like characteristics, but has tooling behind Liberty's cap and a few scattered hairlines in the fields. The second 1831 was dipped at one time, and has retoned somewhat naturally. The 1835 has a small rim bump, and I could probably find a better example of the date without even trying. The 1837 has some dang nasty hairlines on the reverse under the toning, but it's sharp and has pretty toning. The real star of the group is the 1838, which is a peach of a Ch. Au with pretty colored highlights and no hairlines under the tone. I wish they were all problem free, but I got the problem coins at the right price. All of these coins except the 1834 and 1836 were from an old collection assembled prior to 1960. Hope you liked seeing them, and feel free to post your own pics of Capped Bust 25c.

Quarternut- thanks for the insta-attributions. You saved me hours of looking through this big, thick book on Bust Quarters that I bought last year.image Sorry there weren't any R7 varieties in this bunch to upset your conditions census listings!

Yes, I just did them; these are relatively easy ones to attribute. image

Actually I don't use my own book that much other than to verify something or on a couple of die marriages that I always seem to get mixed up on if they don't show any die cracks.
