I like it.

Sure is a gorgeous example of the date, though. Since they've been around in rolls for ages, MS examples rarely display this much character.

obverse. I'll bet the reverse is more PL than the front in hand.
Very nice dollar for sure.

<< <i>I thought it would go 66 but didn't think you'd get the PL. Too much cartwheel on the
obverse. I'll bet the reverse is more PL than the front in hand.

no way that would 66, the cheek has to be pretty much spotless to get 66.

not really Maud
I cracked a 85-O from a old Tangible Investments slab that was a 64 and sent it to PCGS and it came back as a 66- i sold that that bad girl to a private collector and they enjoyed it immensely.
Never doubt coins from certain TPG's even those that did their thing in the late 80's- they were tight like a virgin many moons ago, and it looks like they are getting back to that standard a bit today.
CAC has em worried..

I have cracked out plenty of MS64s that came back MS66, the cheek has to be pretty much free of all distractions, and the fields can have a few ticks, not major clashes or scuffs and youll get ms66s all day.
