Hey all I find tons of regular pocket change when detecting but where should I go for some older stuff. I really would like to find some old coins that would make me very happy.

    Town squares are a good place, especially around old big trees. Around outhouse locations on old farmhouse sites. Civil War camps/battlefields. Old Town sidwalks, especailly if they're digging them up and replacing them.

    Old parks, old picnic grounds, cellar holes, old swimming holes. Most of those places will turn up an old coin or two. Cheers, RickO
