The Australian dictionary spells it "Aluminium".
I used to think they just pronounced it differently (i.e. wrong), but I looked it up and they pronounce it just like it's spelled (here, anyway).
That's a cool token. I love that kind of stuff!

Aluminum was a precious metal in the past. Does that time period include 1860?

That's one word that it's fun to get 5-year-olds to try and pronounce. I'm partial to "aludimum," myself.

Alley Luma Numb is the proper name.
That a one token thats in ship shape.
Very nice, like that there is other vessels giving more depth by creating fore, middle and backgrounds.

Thats a excellent point. The token is not aluminum
I really need to look at my collection more often
This is a false thread, I will await my punishment.
Edited to add: but thanks for the kind words, it is a beauty, but not a aluminum beauty.

I know it's listed as a White Metal token but this is Aluminum in my book... might have a touch of Tin tossed in for fun?
