Why is the 2009 Platinum Coin so unpopular already???

here are some of the reasons i read....
1] too politically correct
2] too expensive
3] will not be KEY COIN IN SERIES
4] cannot flip it right away and make 1000%
5] ugly
ok...while i agree with all of those to a certain degree let me tell you why I like the coin...
1] they made something in 2009 in proof....sorry all you ASE collectors...but how do you explain that hole in the series....maybe an asterisk
2] every year since 1997 the reverse is something different....we had a choice to collect Platinum or Gold or Silver Eagle Proof, we did not select Gold or Silver...same design and only 1-2 digits change each year..... BIG WOW!!!!
3] 8000 max mintage is really a low figure in the BIGGER GRAND PICTURE...this has already been debated so i won't further the point
As to my preference on the design....its OK...not GREAT....NOT AWFUL....Will it be a winner....Only time will tell...but isn't that what collecting is all about???? If you like it BUY it....if you don't just keep your opinion to yourself....the coin is already CAST....NO ONE will CHANGE IT NOW....
If you think its too expensive....buy a UHR for $200 or so less.....there are only 100,000+ other ones out there to compete with..... a Proof Buffalo would be a better catch at 30,000+...everyone LOVES that design.....
