Houston Show Report and NEWP's

The report is, I spent too much money.
Anyway, I got there a bit early to set up my exhibit, then met with RCToners to drop off some coins for him to photograph. Chris and Robin seem like good folks by the way. There seemed to be quite a few memo's and checks being written by the dealers before opening but I'll try to get a better feel when I'm back on Saturday. I got to meet "she who shall not be named" from Legend, the good folks from Angel Dees (who charmed me out of some money for a US coin posted over there), finally met Josh from Civitas and had a pleasant chat, and Alex, my regular local dealer who always has something I'm forced to buy.
This one came from Civitas, it's in a PCGS 64 slab, 1874 St. Gallen Shooting taler.

This is from Alex Siegel, he always says he doesn't have anything for me but come see him anyway, suckers me right in. This is a 1902 in Matte PF63. I don't know why I like these matte coins so much but I do like them with nice smooth gray surfaces. If you collect South or Central American he's worth getting to know, always has a bunch of raw and slabbed from that part of the world.
