Is it okay to submit coins to PCGS in the mint capsules?

Yes. You may or may not get the capsule back. It's best to write "return capsule" on the order form.

Don't mess with sending in the packaging, unless it has to be sealed for First Strike.

  • I have one/two. If you have an unattributed Major variety(1876 cc DDR trade) can you have them reslab it with the variety on the label at a major show? Also how about a re-grade in slab on a different coin?

I send all my coins into PCGS in their US Mint capsules and have never had a problem, both regular and Bulk. I called PCGS CS and they said it was OK. Ask for capsules back if you want them, most of the time PCGS will throw them away.

    Good luck with your coins!

Whenever I ask for the capsules back, they always send them.....never a problem!

RYK, they actually have suggested, a few years back and haven't changed, that the coins DO be sent in in their original mint capsules (as applicable).

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Instead of starting a new thread, I will hijack this one. image

Anyway, if I want to send in a quarterly special with a regular submission, can they be sent in the same package as long as the two orders are separate when they open the package? I realize that I must pay separte return shipping.

    Yes.

You can submit as many separate submissions as you want in the same package as long as there are readily identifiable.

Each submission form has accomodations for Submission x of x and a total number of coins for all the submissions within the package.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
  • You guys send perfect just minted coins from the mint to be graded? Huh?
