Who has a Breens Ency. handy??

i'm trying to place an entry about someone throwing a 1933 double eagle into the ocean to avoid confiscation and i cant recall where i read this
the story itself sounds Breen-ish so i'm thinking it might have been Breens Encyclopedia (which i have lent out currently)......i tried to utilize the online version of Breen but received an error message (copyright issues perhaps??)
if someone can help i would appreciate it

"At least one other was reportedly flung into the ocean to avoid seizure, prior to 1956."
Hope this helps!

Was that the coin or Breen's comment that was thrown in the ocean? That's enough to give anyone a seizure....
