Gotta love it when a non paying bidder can leave the seller a negative feedback because I filed a "non paying bidder dispute" on him

Called eBay and they pretty much said "tough luck"

Sounds familiar... I recently had one of those myself. All over my 'excessive' shipping charge of $2.50..... that was clearly stated in my auction..... and unless I reduced this outrageous charge, they were not going to pay!

And yes... eBay let them get away with it, and I got a neg.......

.... makes you wonder how eBay stays in business the way they treat their sellers.

I would keep the calls and e-mails to them coming, until they "bother" to investigate. Need to block this "buyer". Who is it??

I was of the understanding that if the buyer doesn't respond to the NPB, then the neg can be removed. I think that requires a week to go through.

Yes, once you close the case the buyer can no longer leave a negative and if a negative was left it is removed. That all depends on the buyer not paying for the auction between the time the case was filed and the time eBay allows you to close the case, awarding a strike to the buyer and a listing refund to the seller.

I love ebay

This guy offered me 10% of my asking price and I thought it was so funny I counter offered 1.00 less then my asking price and this was his response

"Do you have a phone number at which I can reach you? I'd like to negotiate with you for this coin over the phone if possible.

I like the toning of the coin but as we both know it's not what the market likes right now (blast white) and if I have to resell it I won't be able to for near greysheet. Add to that the fact that commems are really soft right now as you must be aware and your asking price is really just too high for this. I'm willing to be reasonable but you need to be as well. Otherwise good luck finding a buyer and enjoy paying ebay listing fee after listing fee."

Not to mention the coin in question is listed at 20% back of bid or something.

The OPS title reminded me of volcanic ocean vents. You get too close and get burned or poisoned. Its where the bottom dwellers hang out.
