First spouse question.

Has anyone noticed that one particular issue is rising to the surface as an early key, or are they all indistinguishable in price and rarity?

Thanks!

Starting in 2008 they are all super rare. You just can't tell because it seems like no one wants em.

Oh, well, in 250 years mine are gonna be valuable and I'll be laughing at everyone that didn't buy them.

1/2oz .9999 fine gold - Gold spot $1200oz may have something to do with price.image
    Avid collector of GSA's.
  • That's great for the previous issues, but do you want to pay $700 + for a 1/2 ounce of gold for the current coins?

No early keys for now. The Jackson and the Van Buren in either proof or BU might.... everyone has put off buying these due to the ever increasing price of gold and the Mint premium. But I suspect the short set of the 'classic' design will be a popular and desirable set in a few years. While there are plenty of the Jefferson coins, the Jackson and Van Buren are way less.... so will probably have a good premium for those who want that short set.

Hey tincup, please delete your post. We don't need people getting interested in these things yet.

Not to worry LanLord..... everyone is spending their cash on the Proof Buffalo, Proof gold Eagle, fractional gold, and the upcoming proof plat. Not too much interest in those undesirable First Hag coins!
