Best way to get rid of toning?

I have a nasty toned coin (my own fault for leaving it out to expose in the elements). What is the best way to get rid of color? Yes I want this coin white again. Which dip works best?

Can we see the coin before we offer suggestions?

    Send it to RickO.
Nothing toned can exist in his presence image

(silver, not clad, right? It can be dipped but if the toning ate too much into the coin, you may not like the results...)

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

it looks too dark to get back to white without losing alot of luster
best way to get rid of the toning is to ebay it.

Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

    Steel wool.

But seriously, I use E-Z-Est. Available from your favorite coin supply store.

I also have MS-70 but I think that doesn't work as well as E.Z.Est on removing unwanted, eh, er, "color". image
