that TeleTrade is now putting stickers with the lot number from the auction on the front of the slab as well as their usual bar code sticker on the back?

The lots I just received today have these stickers but they have never had them before. image

If you want them for other coins you’ve bought, you can buy stickers at a local office supply store.

And the ever popular Sharpie brand permanent markers will likely be available at the same store! They're available in all the colors now. I like to get the giant sized green markers and write CAC all over my slabs... (cheaper than sending them in and a more "sure thing" to boot). I'm certain more tough to remove sticker goo and ink will help a slab resell even faster.

I particularly like the way some older NGC holograms peel off when the stickers are removed. That is a wonderful aesthetic enhancement to the holder... image

It's not as tacky as duct tape.

(there's a pun in there somewhere)

  • Is that AT or NT on the Sharpie?

Well, the sharpie was in a front window exposed to direct sunlight but I don't think Office Depot did it with the direct intent to change the color so I say NT image

I noticed as well, but it's hard to get any useful meaning out of them after I CRACK THE HOLDERS TO PIECES. image

Just more stickers to remove when the coins arrive...
DO NOT forget and pull them off years later....It is not pretty!

My latest Teletrade coin (read that as a single coin Mr. Money Bags!) arrived with the afore mentioned sticker and I think that the stickers were placed on the coins for the lot viewing at the Santa Clara show. When I viewed my (single) coin, it had the sticker.

Were these part of the 11/22 Santa Clara Auction Gary?

Edited: I just checked the Santa Clara results and the three coins pictured were in the sale. The stickers were for the lot viewing Gary.

Nice Price on that Type 3 and I was eyeballing that one myself but was committed this 1971-S DDO-004/DDR-021
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
