1980 Topps Stickers Prototypes
I bought this about 5 years ago for about $120. As a Reds and Johnny Bench collector I am always on the lookout for oddball items to add to my collection. However, I always had buyers remorse on this one because I did not buy it from the Topps Vault and there was no documentation included with it indicating that it actually was a prototype. I always thought I may have been ripped off. I just recently purchased the new 2010 Standard Catalog and I was shocked to find that this prototype was actually listed. What a nice suprise.

I think you are right. It has been a long time since I purchased the Standard Catalog so this may have been listed for a number of years.

Right you are, Ken.

Says each of the prototypes is "unique". So it would make sense that his example is the one in the book.
