Somewhat coin related: question about text type for an article

I'm writing an article on Topic X. My standard text is Times New Roman, but I also plan to include a somewhat lengthy New York Times article from the late 19th century. The type used in newspapers from this time was slightly different from that used today. As such, I would like to closely match that print type when quoting this article, rather than indenting the story in regular Times New Roman.

If anyone has a suggestion on a good Microsoft Word text which would closely correlate to print used in late 19th newspapers I would be very grateful for your assistance.

Thanks
(and I know this question is somewhat of a long-shot)

Regardless of type face, you won't get the effect of manual kerning that you see in the old newspaper article.

FWIW, I use TR 12 for the main body and Arial (Helvetica) 10 for long quotes with a 1/2-in indent on both margins for the quote.
