~ Spent a fun day scrounging through another members SDB... A few images of tasty goodies discovered

I had a chance last week to dig through my friend fellow member CommemDude's SDB for a few hours as we got together for a show-n-tell session.
I brought along my photo gear to image a few items in the viewing area and will just post a couple which just blew me away.
It was a great get together, yet somewhat overwhelming as we where limited on time.
Afterwards we did have dinner together and more time on hand to share some numismatic war stories.
Anyhow enough with the small talk and onto some pictures...
P.S. Thanks for the invite CommemDude!
This PCGS AU55 FH $1 was one of my favorites from the type I saw

This Antietam was my favorite from the commems I saw, as I could have looked at this forever!

This Texas was like nothing I've ever seen before as I've owned plenty of 66 and 67's.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

You took these in a bank??
The name is LEE!
That is three fantastic looking coins. The jaw drop says it all for that group.
I had a guy bring his photography gear to do a show-n-tell in my SDB. He ended up just using one of those cheap disposable cameras. He said that was plenty good.

<< <i>The coins are great but I'm more amazed at the photography.

Yes about $350.00 worth of gear tossed in a duffel bag... and just shooting away like a mad man.
I'm impressed with the results also as these turned out better then most images I take at my leisure.
I didn't feel I had captured the FH $1 to do it any sort of justice, but got lucky when I uploaded the images.

...and that's only what was in his registry set! Tons of type and lots more commems (some even nicer than in his set, but not in PCGS holders) as well, but I have to dig for those images. To say the least, I'm with Broadstruck... an amazing collection to be able to see and appreciate in hand!
<< <i>I shot a good number of his pieces back in 2005... I'd love to go back with my much upgraded equipment and do it again. Here are some of my pictures and that's only what was in his registry set!
