Is there any way to copy ebay pics anymore??

I used to copy and paste to a folder so I could get a better look. I can't figure a way to do it anymore.

Open the eBay picture, right click and select "save page as". Then go into the folder, the picture will be there image
  • Just right click the image, click properties and copy

Doesn't work like that anymore since eBay went to the new format image

Yes. A couple of ways to try.
Ken...give me a link to one that you have an issue with and I will take a look and let you know.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Hmmm, just worked for me the same way it always has even used a coin picture.

People can use html to stop the right click/save as, but there are still ways around that (and I am not talking about doing a screw capture and then cropping to what you want).
I do this for coins I buy as well. Yes, I take my own pics, but there are plenty of times I appreciate the picture that someone took of it that I bought it from. Most of the time, I ask the seller and they send me the pics, but there are times I go ahead and save them local anyway.
Never use them to sell anything without asking but for my personal use, yes, I do it.

Exactly, but you have to click on the pic first in order to "freeze" it.

Yes but the problem occurs with Firefox on listings such as this.

Dang and I was hoping that they had finally made it hard to hijack pictures, easy as ever for me on that one above.

  • I use an IMac with Intel Duo. When things do not work on Safari, I copy and paste the url into www.opera.com I just click and drag the picture it to the desktop. Just like before. You can also use Opera.com to change your avatar on the 15th. The www.opera.com download is free online.

I keep pictures of coins and item I buy before the auction ends to make sure I can compare what I receive and what I bought. It has helped a few times. when a doctored pictured was used and then taken down after I won the auction and before I received the coin. It does not happed that often , but when it does I'm covered.
