In defense of Nankraut, he may be able to buy them for spot if Gold continues it's ascent.....he seems to have missed the point, and the boat, by a bit though!
To be fair to everyone i think it was the consensus that these coins were bad and that is why few purchased them. That is what gave them the relative scarcity they have.
I think everyone was overloaded with all of the new mint products as we know, who could afford to collect all of the new series the mint created?
8 buffalo series, 8 gold eagle series, 8 platinum series, two silver eagle series and two spouse gold coin series.
Now that they have ended nearly all of them the few that purchased those coins are benefiting from the interest they now have, except for the spouse coins perhaps.
This post was interesting, since it was made just before the Gold Buffs started going dark.....................it's funny how expectations don't always match with reality when it happens.

No mintage limit on the Buffalo Fractionals. Thats why the play here is on the FS PRDCAM70's and MS 70's.
