    Joe,
Congratulations! That looks like a great set. I am just wondering WHY you want to sell it so quickly and move on to other sets. The value of THIS set will only increase over time and right now is probably a bad time to sell. Why not ENJOY your set for what it is. That's what I do with my Lincoln proof collection. Good luck.

I am one coin away (1950) from completing a Franklin proof set. Most PCGS, some NGC. Dont like rattler holders but for the right coin I would take it

That is quite an accomplishment. Congradulations! You don't have to worry about any fake Chinese holders with the rattlers either.

    Congratulations.

I imagine the old holders are getting pretty tough all by themselves.

Nice! Great idea, and you were able to finish it in a reasonably short period. Congrats.

I agree about not breaking up the set. This is a classic case of how the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The entire set at auction would probably do quite well.

Technically, I believe there were some fake rattler holders, identified by the irregular underlining of the words on the reverse, and by the straight, non tilted S in Service. Don't know if they were Chinese, though.
