<< <i>I've been inundated with emails from dealer X the past 2 weeks about guaranteed 1 yr 100% no risk buybacks, opportunity of a lifetime, 30 year market outperformer, and other such catchy phrases if I plunk down 5 figures with them. They incidently do wear suits a lot and have fancy brochures and advertising. What should I do?....and by the way, my name is Forrest.

LOL! Gee I wonder who that dealer is making those guarantees?

Plunk down eh? They use that language? Plunk down? Sad part is there are people who will buy that pitch.

Everything must be fine, I just looked at the web site and they are still taking orders. image

Did anyone notice the services pitch:

Stanford Coins & Bullion provides the following expert services for both collectors and investors:

    • Strategy
    • Counsel
    • Research
    • Buy and sell
    • Certification
    • Assessment and valuation
    • Auction through Superior Galleries of Beverly Hills

It would appear they still have some deal with Superior. Since I am not one of the whales I generally can't do business with companies like this, not enough spending power. Sometimes it's good to be one of the little people.

Innocent until proven guilty is for the courts. Would you want to give your money to Madoff right now? He is still "innocent"

Of course. He is still offering a guaranteed 15% per year returns to all new customers who sign up before his next court date. He'll even toss in a new George Foreman grille if you lock in for 5 years.

Have they located his knightship "Sir Stanford" yet? Apparently he was trying to leave the country as quick as possible...imagine that!
