HMMM. Definitely not new. Has a place where the serial # usually is but it's blank. No assay # either. Everything else appears Kosher. Perplexed. Take care.
I saw those at my B&M a couple of years ago. It was his best seller at the time... he was charging $1.49 over spot (which was $12 +/-). They looked 'new' back then.
He said the 'blank area' was so the owner could put whatever serial or mark they wanted, for their own inventory records... "hmmmmm"
So called premium bars were $2.49 over spot... art bars were $3.49 over spot.
I'm on the west coast... they're fine over here...
I have some Silvertown 10 oz bars with a place for the serial number but are blank.

Silvertown bars are completely legitimate and should trade for full silver value in all venues. Not sure about the "highly sought after/regarded" part.
