Abscards on EBAY

I was looking at the auctions and I was uneasy with many of the different cards especially the Mantles' for sale. What's the t/b centering on the 1965 Mantle in a SGC 96? 45/45. The 63 looks awkward. The scans are blurry. The seller has like 12000 feedback. Needs to buy a new scanner for starters. If you sell expensive cards you need to provide a good scan. Anyone else care to chime in on this.

I like how he says that the Clemente actually does have frosting on the case...

The 65 Mantle looks like it may be trimmed. Shouldn't the top and bottom borders both be bigger?

I don't think I've ever seen a group of cards that are so weak for the grade.
I'll bet the crappy scanner is intentional.

I don't know what to think with this guy. He did sell a 1600.00 card to Kris Keppler

and Kris left him positive feedback, so who knows?

Maybe he got these cards on consignment?

    edited to add:

he also sold a card to Carl (duke of mint) for 1500.00 and received a positive.

    Good for you.

I think they cards are good.....just would behoove him greatly to buy a decent scanner. PS - The 1963 mantle sold two months ago...the winning bidder was ticked off that the back was off centered and returned it. Probably didn't package it good, and it got the crack upon return....

The Clemente is legit. I know the guy he bought it from, and I know where he got it.

The seller's lifetime-FB is so good that I really think the chance of
him intentionally listing bogus cards is VERY slim.

    I dunno.

I love Mantle's Rollie Fingers mustache on the '63 Topps PSA 8 image
