Is it worth buying 2009-D Lincoln cents

Type2Type2 Posts: 13,985 ✭✭✭✭✭
At face from my bank. I have 20 box's of Ea. but I dont want to tell him to stop geting them just in case he get the 2009-D Nickels. Every time he orders coin he ask for the Dime, Nickel, and Cent but all we get is the Cent but I have a lot of box's now should I stop. image

    No, don't stop.

Just list every other one on eBay.

Seems like an easy way to double your money or more. Unless you don't need it or make more other ways I'd stay with it a little longer. You can bet there are a few here who envy your position.

If you get a D Presidency I would be interested in 1 box.
    I have the other 3 P & D's.

    Local B&M here wants $200 for a $25 box, P & D, all designs, across the board.
Thought it was a little steep.

you could make lot of forumites happy by selling them here.

    so, yes, continue getting them.

If you can sell them go for it.
Not sure how many boxes I'd keep.

Most years the banks stop getting new cents before the year ends so it might not last much longer.

They are still doing decent on ebay, including the scammer that is using his own ink stamper to create first date boxes....image
