79 OPC Gretzky Raw on eBay

I thought that eBay did not allow raw Gretzkys to be sold on eBay, OPC or Topps.

Unfortunately, somebody is about to get taken to the cleaners.

    Why would you think someones about to get screwed ?

    The guy is sending larger , up-close scans of the card to anyone who asks
    A collector of all things Braves
    Always looking for Chipper Jones cards.
    Im a very focused collector of cards from 1909 - 2012...LOL

    What are the chances that this is an authentic, uncolored, untrimmed, legitimate OPC Gretzky RC given how much these are worth graded?

    I don't know for 100% certainty, but it's hard to imagine how anyone owning that card would not get it graded unless they know something we don't.

    Wow, I just bought a Gretzky and Jordan at a card show on Sunday for $4ea, probably not worth that much but at least I didn't pay $400+ unknowingly...

    If it doesn't smell like gum, the buyer can file a SNAD

    Ok I looked at the card and with the rough cut and of center it looks pretty legit to me. I would ratjer by a 8oc for about the same, but that one does look legit to me.

    It sold for PSA 7 money
    This is what I don't understand about prices some buyers pay for raw cards.
    IF it is a legit card and
    IF it is unaltered and
    IF there are no hidden flaws scan doesn't show
    centering and lower left corner keeps it PSA 7 best case.
    You don't want to buy a PSA 7 for same $?
    Why take a chance w/ $450 on a crappy pic & low feedback seller?
    I don't know if a real PSA 7 would get 29 bids....
