You didnt say if it was charged the full amount or the discounted amount. Seems like pretty important information to omit.
Edited to add: Yes I see the whoo hoo, but who knows, you may just be happy what you ordered was in stock.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
On a side note, did anyone notice that Steiner filed a $175,000 lawsuit against Yadier Molina for failing to show for contracted Auto signings.
I did see a charge on my card when someone posted the thread about it being no good, etc.
Now the charge is not there any longer.
When I go to their site and punch my order number in to check status it says "approved".
No emails from them other than spam.
$9.99 paid just for shipping
Thanks for the heads up Doug and TedW

me 3 and me 4 for my mom.
I myself placed four separate orders using three different email addresses (two to the same one), the same shipping address and the same credit card. I placed two of them on 10-3 and the other two on 10-4. they were for what I view as fairly insignificant stock items for them (two cherrywood ball cases on one, the snider framed photo on another, and the last two each consisted of three major league baseballs). I only received one email to one of my three email addresses telling me I need to call in with my season ticket number. I haven’t received any other emails from them pertaining to the orders (except for unrelated spam; they have had no problem sending me emails on each of the last two Fridays advertising their Friday specials and thus looking for more business from me when I have yet to receive any indication that they plan on honoring the four albeit small orders I’ve already placed), and the last time I checked, my credit card wasn’t charged.
I’m happy for all of u that received your orders, but the bottom line is, that its even worse if steiner is picking and choosing whose orders theyre filling; ie, they shouldn’t just send them to random people and not others. It should be either everybody or nobody. It was bad enough a week ago when nobody thought they would get their orders, but its even worse if some people are getting them and others aren’t.
My company offers a “free freight Fridays” promotion where the customer gets free freight on certain fridays if they place their order online; like steiner, it involves entering a promo code at the time the order is placed. I know how our customers would feel if we took the “pick and choose” approach that it appears steiner is taking regarding this whole fiasco; our customers that were getting excluded would start world war III if they knew others were getting free freight and they weren’t.
If I don’t receive my order, or an email with a tracking number by monday, I plan on calling steiner and putting up a stink (to say the least) and demand that they ship my orders. If they don’t comply, I plan on telling them that I will report them to the better business bureau (and I will). This would be like a department store--say target, for example-- having a sale and telling person A that they cant have the item for the sale price but giving it to person B for the sale price. This isn’t one of those day after thanksgiving sales where a store offers early bird specials between 6am and 8 am, or gives a 50% off coupon to the first 100 people in line prior to the store’s opening; it was a code that all of us had, and there was no time stipulation or “first come, first served” warning. The only stipulation was that u had to be a Yankees season ticket holder, and if theyre honoring orders for the non-season ticket holders, they need to honor orders for all the non-season ticket holders, plain and simple. (unless of course all u guys that received your orders are Yankees season ticket holders or provided them with bogus numbers and got away with it!!)
Please don’t view this post as sour grapes towards those of u who have already received orders (or tracking numbers); as I already stated, I’m glad for those of u who got what u wanted, and I view it is encouraging for the rest of us who are still waiting. I would imagine each and every one of u would be upset like me if u were in my boat right now and hadn’t received your order or any indication that it will ship while others continue to nonchalantly report that they’ve received their orders.
<< <i>I think we also seem to be ignoring the broader issue at hand here: namely, does steiner intend to fulfill all of the orders, or are they just picking and choosing random ones?? If it’s the latter, that’s just wrong. And if it’s the latter, what determines whose order gets filled vs whose doesn’t?? I view this as a case of customer discrimination.

I agree 100%. And yes I am one of the poeple still waiting for a tracking number or my items. But I would even agree with you if I already received my items. I was OK that I was not going to get my items until I saw many other members posting there "scores".
She was grabbing something for our boy for Xmas.
Nothing for me yet. I ordered before she did.
It's not their fault if people tried to abuse it.
<< <i>Mike Lowell, you fail to realize it was always intended to be just for season ticket holders.

I think he relized that and so do I. But the argument is that NOBODY should of gotten there stuff if that is the case. Not just a handful of people. Like I mentioned above I was just fine with not getting my order until others started getting theres. I even understood Steiners reason for not fulfilling the orders. If it was for ONLY Yankee season ticket holders that was fine with me. I did not know it was for only the ticket holders until a few days after I ordered.
Just hung it up in my man cave.

Different prices for different people. You mean like they do at car dealerships, furniture stores, and baseball card shows?

If I were Steiner I honestly wouldn't want you as a customer.

edit to add an hour later, UPS was at the front door
got home from work and it was laying on the front porch.
<< This would be like a department store--say target, for example-- having a sale and telling person A that they cant have the item for the sale price but giving it to person B for the sale price. >>
Stores do something like that all the time. Example, senior citizen discounts. They get say 25% off an item and you have to pay full retail.
In any event it appears Steiner knew they effed up and rectified the situation.
