Wild Bill Hickok was such a "bad dude with a gun", when he was a lawman in Abilene, if you broke the law there, watch out! For Hickok would just shoot you, ...not arrest you!
...And how about these other Western "bad boys"? Billy the Kid, Frank and Jesse James!
Is there a Bob Dylan in that set that has the Hendrix?
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy! Don't waste your time and fees listing on ebay before getting in touch me by PM or at gregmo32@aol.com !
There are no Dylan cards in any of the 1960s British sets. However, there are several Dylan cards (and sticker cards) from Spain, Italy, Netherlands issued in the early 1970s (1972-74) and mid-60s. The mid-60s are very crude. The 1970s are nice looking but tough to find in ex or better condition.
The best Dylan "cards" produced are from 1964. They are promo cards issued by his record company. They were reprinted for a recent (last 10 years) CD. The originals are hard to find but do come up on eBay.
Thanks for the info. I have seen several of the 1970's cards and stickers, but don't own any. I have always been partial to the Panini stuff because of their long run making cards...

I picked-up this 1926 W512 Johnny Weissmuller PSA 9 tonight on fee-bay.
Let's pretend he was more than a swimming champ in 1926. He was a future Tarzan for God's sake, besides I want to post it here on the non-sportscard threads too!
rd
P.S. Did you know? Johnny Weissmuller contracted Polio as a child and at age 9, he took up swimming as physical therapy. He won 5 gold medals in two different Olympics (1924 Paris & 1928 Amsterdam.). He also won a Bronze metal in team water polo for the USA.
He lied and said he was born in Pennsylvania (he was really born in Europe). His dad signed an affidavit that he was American born, so he was issued an American Passport, to travel to Paris to compete in the Olympics for the United States at age 19 as a swimmer.
In addition to his Olympic medals, Weissmuller won fifty-two US National Championships and set sixty-seven world records. Johnny Weissmuller never lost a race and retired from his amateur swimming career undefeated. Wow!
I just picked up a complete MINT set of 1923 EDWARDS, RINGER, AND BIGG CINEMA STARS which is extremely rare in high grade and the 1924 SANDORIDES CINEMA STARS probably ex/mt to nm/mt and is one of about 7 different variations of this set. This the Large Variation.
Just getting my display room organized again, trying to trim down my non-sport, hockey and baseball pack and box collections. Started to accumulate too much stuff although looked at the shelves I still have too much stuff come to think of it..... I'm not a real vintage card collector but I like the graphics of the packaging mostly. The highest value full boxes I have are the second Planet of the Apes and OPC RCMP. The shrink wrapped boxes are solid core styrofoam filled displays only.
Two more new ones...got these from a fellow board member.
Not sure why, but the #56 Pueblo Village has always been my favorite card in the set...maybe because it was the first card from this set that I ever saw, and right then and there knew I wanted to build the set. With these two cards I've eclipsed the 50% mark in PSA 9. I count the set as 82 total cards since #19 and #70 can be found with the little tribe symbol on both the left and right sides.
Comments
If anything should be slabbed, it would be sketch cards.
I am all for it.
