What a bummer

.........they took www.coinsarefun.net

Not sure if anyone remembers the original thread Goldbully posted here about them

They have their own domain name numisnetwork.com
Why go after my name?
Maybe they are listed under other names as well?

I guess its my fault for not buying all the domain names........com, .net etc.......

But it kinda stinks that my name is or may be associated with these guys.
To me they appear to be nothing more than a pyramid game.

Uff this is ugly....nevermind them...If this was a company name I could give you an advice or 2...but domain is something different. First I would post a RED message on my site explaining the "the false" coinsarefun.net...Beware of....
And I couldn't resist myself to send them an e-mail....

CONECA (the error club) has a similar issue. CONECA's web address is www.conecaonline.org. Someone else is using www.conecaonline.com.

Not only that, but it appears that one of them decided to advertise on Goldbully's thread.

This sort of thing is the reason behind the recent rise in Proof AGEs, I am sure. With all of the coins now encased in plastic, who doubted that this would be the end result?

I'm all for making money in a capitalistic system, but I'm not for making money by misrepresentation. 'nuf said.

I had to wash my hands after watching a few minutes of that video. Yuck.

Imagine how annoyed they are that coinsarefun.com is not available? Why not sell it to them for a killing and make up a new domain (and buy all the suffixes)? funwithcoins.com or something.

I know, you were there first. They should leave. If nothing else you'll probably get some traffic intended for them.

Stefanie I wouldn't worry to much about it as long as you have .com your good. It's the mansion on the corner vs. the guest house in the back. I had the same issue with CoinSpace lucky for me the owner was willing to sell me the .com

I am thinking about trademarking coinsarefun. I trademarked another name through a lawyer and
it was not cheap. But I was looking online through the US gov site and one can file for $325. It
may be worth it.

You never know............I may be worth something one day
