Did you ever sell a coin so fast that you wonder if you underpriced it?

Just sold a 2000-S PF69 Virginia State Quarter in a 2007 NGC Collectors Society slab within 10 hours of listing the coin. I got the coin for free and it was just sitting on my desk. So just for the hell of it I put it on Ebay. I couldn't find any recent prices, but I remember when I first got the coin, they were going for nothing on Ebay. Oh well, maybe someone got a good deal.

    Yes, and in one recent instance, the guy who bought my BST listing took better pictures and doubled his money on eBay. On that coin I had three offers to buy within the first 15 minutes of my BST post.

    yes. both ms70 buffalos, one was a first strike. one was a 1/4 oz and the other a 1/2 oz. sold in less than an hour on ebay to the same buyer for $2100.

    Oh, yes. When I sold off my in-progress type set on the BST a while back, I had half of them sold in less than six hours at the full asking price with no haggling. So I suppose I probably left some money on the table there...

    OMG YES! Sometimes they come running so fast you have no idea who came first. Sometimes all the "next guys" want to raise the price and steal it away from the guy who showed up first. Wish it was always like that!

    Oh yes,

    I put a morgan on ebay and it lasted less then one min as a buy it now. I have had several sell within hours of putting them up but that one was the fastest.

    Russ offered me $60 for a PCGS PR67 toned proof Lincoln cent that I picked up on the old Yahoo auctions for $30 bucks. I sold the coin to him and then Russ sold it on Ebay for like $200 a week later image


    I still like to joke with him about that one...lol image

    What did you sell it for? I have one but assumed it was worthless.

    I previously auctioned a MS65 5 coin BU 2006 state quarters Collectors Society Multi-Holder set and it brought a whopping $13!! image
