Remind me again why people always pick San Diego

Every year people are all over this team to finally make a Super Bowl run and they look lethargic and overrated every year. Philip Rivers is probably the most overrated player in the NFL right now. I can't see why this guy gets so much credit for being a punk.

Come on now...The Chargers were only a high favorite for 2 years. Their first round loss a couple years ago was disgusting. As far as this year...Lots of better football teams this year.

While I do think SD is soft, one reason for picking them is that its pretty much a given that they'll have a home playoff game.

Im picking them because the refs sure as heck do. That was one of the worse calls ever changing that td to incomplete. WTF

imo, that OAK TD should have been reversed....ESPN had one angle that for some reason they only showed once, that showed the ball coming out after he hit the ground....granted 5-10 years ago that is a TD, but not in today's NFL.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing...probably not! He's done this in the past, too.

Rivers is a dumb player and Norv Schottenheimer is a fantastic choker!

I don't understand some of the negative criticism of Rivers' play in that game....yes, the one INT from his end zone was bad, really bad....but he moved the ball on several drives against the best pass defense in the league with ZERO running game to help him, including a TD drive when it really mattered. Peter King got on him a little, but IMO, it's not deserved criticism.
