My new son, Bergen Caswell Sides is now part of this great world! He was born at 10:11am EST this morning... He was 9 pounds even, 20 inches long.... He has already asked for a some German Talers......

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. We just got home after a few stress filled days at the hospital. We originally thought there were some health issues and after several tense/scary days.... EVERYTHING TURNED OUT TO BE FINE!! Thanks again guys/gals!

His first name, Bergen, is of German origin and means, "Mountain Dweller".. We spend a TON of time in the mountains and Appalachian State University is in the mountains, so we thought it was very appropriate considering my German heritage.

Sleeping like a log.... SOOO different than the first who cried constantly! Coen seems to like his younger brother but still hasn't figured out what he is... Dog's seem to have taken a liking to the new one also, of course they did fine with Coen to. The WORST thing is the wife's hormones... geeeezzzz.... can't wait for that to be over...

She just cries for no reason....I was telling Coen to stop slamming the closet door. He wouldn't listen so I popped his hand. She started bawling and said, "Don't do that I can't take it tonight!" And then ran in the bathroom crying. I then spent the next 30 minutes trying to get her out of there. She came out and apologized and was fine.... well... for about 2 hours...
