eBay selling question

eBay is presently offering no listing fees and a maximum final value fee of $20 for up to 5 auction style sales per month. If an item is listed as an auction with a starting price and also a Buy-It-Now price, and the buyer uses the Buy-It-Now provision, do these promotion fees still apply? Thanks

yes, but you have to pay .25 listing fee for the addition of the buy it now feature. Also, promo is not "per calendar month." It's per 30 day period. Kinda makes it hard to know when to do number six listing. The way to know you are eligible for number six is to start creating a listing and looking at the bottom of the page at your fee total. Also you cannot use Turbo Lister to upload. You have to create listing (I use "sell similiar") from your My Ebay page.

Note they charge higher Final Value Fees for those free listings.
It's sometimes cheaper to list normally.

But as I read it the max FVF is $20. I figured at one time that somewhere above $500 it becomes cheaper to use the free listing. Below that amount will cost you more for your free insertion fees. Of course, depending on what your starting prices is, the amount you save on insertion fees will offset this a little bit.
