I am always looking for CBHs, but the price with the fees, tax and shipping,

is already rather on the high side with almost 2 hours more to go.image

There is nothing that will upgrade my birthyear set. I didn't look at every lot but prices vs. quality are not working for me. Believe it or not I'm seeing better deals on eBay.

For example this TT lot looks like it has been dipped and I'm thinking it should be 67 DCAM. Anyway my bid was blasted out of the water. quarter

I have 5 coins on my watch page but will place bids on 0. Again.

I bet that all 5 will go unsold.

I was seriously thinking about bidding on a coin, but the pictures are grainy enough that, while I like the toning, I can't tell if the coin is well-struck enough or if it really is graded properly. Now it is in a NGC holder but the grade it's in is significantly higher than the grade below. Same coin at heritage probably would bring more because of the better pictures (I know, not perfect, but much better).

However the bid is low enough that it may be attractive. Still have an hour to decide image.

I wanted to but my tracked lot was already above my bid when I looked earlier.

What's the deal with this auction? I don't get it:

    1909-S VDB (NGC AU-55) $5,800?

Teletrade is a shill fiesta ... I am a bit surprised that it hasn't been shut down by some governmental agency yet.

I have a few I'm watching, but they are already at more than I'd like to pay. I was quite pleased with my last purchase a few weeks ago.

Here is one that if it stays as is will cost someone about $300. How it ever got a 66 with those hits to the schnazz and brow is beyond me.

I am, and it looks like it's going to go for way more than I wanted to pay, but I'm still the lead bidder.

I believe that teletrade, is for the rejects in slabs.

For the most part, these are coins that really do not

    make the grade.

I am watching this one with interest. It is relatively common in this grade. I suspect it won't sell.

the #304 is among the most common of this particular medal.

I owned a MS-66 of this and only paid 600 dollars for it. This

medal is waaaayyyyyyy overpriced. Smells like a reserve bid

    trolling for a sucker.

I remember someone here having a killer 304. Did you post a pic of yours here?

I couldn't disagree with you more.

I do think it takes some searching and I like their search feature because I can wade through the common stuff/dreck.

But there are some real sweet deals to be had on TT if one is willing to take the time to search and target the coin(s) that belong in one's collection...

I don't agree either. I have gotten some really nice coins from them. I don't think they have any worse coins than anyone else.

BUY the coin,,,,, not the slab,,,, but only buy PCGS slabs,,,, image

It appears they have moved the direction of the lighting (down south) in their photography, that, I have noticed. Perhaps the Heritage guy moved to Teletrade.
As for their inventory, it looks as though that's all they have to play with as the extension of what's coming up has been limited in a big way, very few pages for browsing............no consigners?
Is it the economy? Their nonmarketing bidding system?

I don't agree TT is for rejects but it is true I have no interest in any of their current offerings. I haven't looked at TT in several months.

Looks like non of the MS-64 CBHs sold tonight.

That's what folks get, with unrealistic reserves.

You could buy the same coins, cheaper from a

    dealer.
