1944-d/s #2 cherry!

I am 98% sure this is the 1944-D/S Die#2. I have attached 2 photos. 1944DX IS THE COIN FROM MY MICROSCOPE. 1944DY IS FROM THE CHERRYPICKERS GUIDE. I cherried this from a circulated roll I bought off of Ebay. It is in VF condition.

What do you all think?

If not maybe die#3???? lol

Maybe, it's tough to tell for that much of a worn MM

I don't believe it is, although it's hard to ascertain with the verdigris inside the mintmark.

    Wrong MM position for #2.

Die #2 has the upright of the D pointing close to the leftmost tip of the first 4. This one is pointing to the right edge of the 9.

I agree with texasnat, especially after looking at the coppercoins link he provided, it is OMM#2. Great pick!

    Die 2 = OMM#2 = FS021 = FS01-1944D-512

    It's the real deal.

I went to the Richardson Texas coin show yesterday. I saw Dr. Wiles of CONECA and he verified that this is the OMM. Plus 2 other dealers verified it as well.
