Ok what happens to the pops if a coin is found inferior of the previous grade given?

Just wondering... I have had a few to downgrade but haven't seen the pops shrink by one?

**you did remember to turn the label(s) in right? otherwise, how would the TPG know

Maybe at the exact time that yours was being removed a new one one being added to you didn't see a change in pop's

Could be.. But, also maybe a TPG will not change data until a later time.. I will follow up when I get my package and read what's might be in there..

It's my understanding the pop reports at PCGS and NGC are updated monthly. I have had a successful downgrade before that was properly handled of an 1899 Barber Half that was in a 66 holder and was downgraded upon review to a 65. I was compensated for the difference in a fair manner and saw the pop report change the following month as pop reports on Barber material typically have minimal changes from month to month and are rare enough you can track them.
