It's CONCEIVABLE that he could have the cards, but I don't think so. But you have to give him credit. If in fact the seller is attempting to perpetrate a fraud, you have to give him credit that he is not going "small peanuts."

Also, it's quite a coincidence that he has apparently "built up" his feedback score by selling to an uncanny group of rookie buyers (as demonstrated by their 0 or 1 feedback scores).

He has other auctions going as well for Ruth, DiMaggio and Gehrig in PSA 8. What's crazy about this is the number of people bidding on this stuff. Who in their right mind would purchase a PSA 10 and a PSA 9 Mantle via EBAY from a guy with 18 feedback. Absurd!

If you look at his feedback from buyers, they are all private auctions and most all have 0 feedbacks themselves. This one obviously doesn't smell right, not that I was looking to buy a PSA 10 '52 Bowman Mantle anyway.

Problem is, as dumb as this chickensh*t is, there are bidders who are even dumber.

Someone mentioned in a recent thread that if a bidder is dumb enough to bid on these auctions, then they get what they deserve.
I have to agree - this auction is so blatantly fraudulent, only the dumbest or greediest of persons would fall for it.
