2 pics, 2 questions - 21 Merc & 62 Frankie

I think I know the answers to my own questions here, but always worthwhile to ask the better informed if I may... Please & THANKS!

1) 21 Merc - Is this cleaned?

2) 62 Frankie - Any shot at a 65, AFTER a dip? I know it's a guess, but what the hey.

I'm a week out from my plat membership expiring and want to take advantage of the quarterly before I'm out of time. The merc would be my last semi-key I need (no keys, yet), they're all lower grades and the Frankie my last proof needed. I'm sitting on a 09-S Lincoln as well, but I already know it has a touch of green that needs attention ats.

All the best, Mike

I don't know that the Franklin is a good choice even for a free submission since it is a proof and won't be worth all that much money even if it goes higher than PR65.

The Merc looks like it may just have circulation marks. To me it doesn't looked cleaned from the pics. You can still get it in a Genuine holder if it does turn out to be cleaned.

I agree with TomB about the Franklin. Even in a PR67 that coin is worth no more than $20-25.
