Topps '99-'00

To save opening the boxes, I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what cards I might expect to find inside the Topps 1999 Complete Set
Series 1 & 2 and the 2000 Topps Complete Set Series 1 & 2.
Thanks in advance for any help!

  • If you are talking baseball, absolutely nothing.
  • Yes, baseball thanks!
Are you including the spiffy looking Nolan Ryan reprint advertised on the "99 box front?

I don't believe there are any significant rookies in the '99 set, although if you plan on grading any, there are quite a few cards for the set registry collectors, including Ripken, Gwynn, Maddux, A-Rod, Griffey, etc. 10s generally go for decent money.
  • Keep your sets sealed, there are not any significant cards.

If the MVP promotion cards are in there I would rip them and sell me the Griffey and Frank Thomasimage

  • The "key" rookies from these sets either had rookies in 1997-98 Bowman or 1999 for the 2000 Topps set (Berkman, Soriano, Burrell) or are now nothing more than decent major leaguers (Lidge, Kearns, Zito).

The HOF'ers and future HOF'ers are relatively high pop PSA 10's with the exception of the Ripken Magic Moments from the 2000 set.
