I wouldn't think so as I've got bars and coins that I bought years ago and they look just like new. I do have a question for Cars, since you are a big JM junkie do you know how rare JM Palladium bars are?? I've got 1 oz. and 10 oz. JM Palladium bars and don't really know how many they've made they do look like they were made many years ago and I bought them about 8 years ago.

Any discoloration is most likely due to impurities or chemical staining.
