Too bad for his family he leaves behind and for the victims.
He was a solid major leaguer.

Wanna bet Mr. Wyatt doesn't have any children?
Wow... what "good" did this man do?... play baseball? He raped a 12-year old child! I somehow doubt he lasts that long in prison anyway.
ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

Players get paid more now than they did just a decade ago.
Stallworth can afford better attorneys, apparently.
I'm not saying it's right.
Congrats to the DA or solicitor who took this to trial, those guys almost always wimp out on these sorts of tasks.

Exactly Russ. Child molesters are worse tham murderers in my mind. Raping children takes their innocence and ruins the rest of theirs lives.
He got off light if you ask me.

No question about it Matt.
<< <i>Comparing to Stallworth is not appropriate. That case had complications, whereby the person Dante hit was jaywalking at the time. Those 30 days were the result of a plea bargain, which attests to the notion that the DA in that case did not think they had a strong, winnable case. >>
explain to me the complications in driving drunk...regardless of the jaywalking...

I believe the complication is the guy probably would have still died if Stallworth had been completely sober. He was running across a 6 lane highway in the middle of the night and ran right in front of Stallworth's car. Whether he would of had quick enough reactions had he not been intoxicated can only speculated.
Finally sentenced. I hope he has a few close personal friends in the big house.
Fun games in the BIG HOUSE: 1) Simon Says Touch your ancles 2) Shout, could you get that for me?
I hope he has a lot of fun

<< <i>The thing will Stallworth of course was very bad involving a death, but it was an accident and wasn't intentional...what this POS Hall did was no "accident" >>
Exactly, if anyone cannot understand that difference then they have issues.

What's interesting about child molestation is that it actually doesn't necessarily ruin lives. My mom was a social work professor who specialized in child welfare, and she told me about some fascinating research that was done in this field. Basically, kids who are molested often end up being OK, so long as a) the molestor isn't a family member, and b) the parents don't end up blaming the kid (or otherwise insisting that the kid is lying). In this case here, it seems like there's hope that these girls can go on to live healthy, productive lives. The same cannot be said for Mr. Hall, who I imagine will be getting his oil checked by a series of six inch dipsticks for the next four decades.
