Ok so it's not two coins, it's two side of the same coin, a 1941 Lincoln cent, XF grade. But it has lovely godl/magenta toning. Teh obverse toning is light magenta that darkens near the rim and is especially noticeable in the field above LIBERTY and around the motto. The reverse has some nice light magenta darkeing to medium tones especially near the ONE. Unfortuneately the images don't really depict what it looks like in-hand. But you can see the major areas.

The coin in the OP was cleaned. I think when I offered this goose egg up in 2006, I don't think I framed or posed the original question properly.

The coin in the OP was cleaned. The second of the two coins is depicted below. Before I cleaned the '41 it looked just like the '44 you see in this post.

After I cleaned the '41 I noticed that it began toning. There must've been some residue leftover from the cleansing that caused it to turn.

Q: What did I clean this coin with? image HINT: Think toiletry cleaing products. image
